About Us

Desert Crest Insurance is a locally owned, independent insurance agency at 169 South Bluff Street in St. George. Because we are independent, we are not tied to one company. We shop more than 20 top-rated carriers to find the right coverage at the best value for each client, then stay with you when it is time to renew or file a claim.

Owner and Principal Broker Jorge Wetenkamp opened Desert Crest in 2021 after years as an AAA Insurance agent. He and broker Eduardo Martinez, who brings a background in banking and financial services, are both fully bilingual, so every client can get help in English or Spanish. When you call, you reach a local agent, not a call center.

We help families and businesses across Washington County, including St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Santa Clara, and Ivins, and we are licensed in both Utah and Arizona. Coverage includes:
