About Us

The American Association of University Women has been the nation's leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls since 1881. The St. George Branch was founded 1981 and their mission is to help advance equity for women and girls in Southern Utah through advocacy, philanthropy and education. They provide intellectually challenging monthly programs, scholarships to women attending DSU, a four day STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) summer camp for 8th grade girls and a STEM career day for girls and their parents or guardians. Membership is open to all who support their mission and programs.
