Nov 8 Framed—A Comedy about Art, Marriage, and Ambition |
Joanie, an artist, wants recognition for her paintings, and her crime boss husband Nick can make sure she gets it. May, the young wife of Jake, just wants to learn how to paint, while Jake wants to elevate himself, and become a crime thug. November 8-17, 7 pm, 3 pm matinee on the 17th.
“‘Framed’ is a satirical play about artists and the soul-killing nature of ambition—specifically how it affects marriage and personal relationships. Nov 22 Values of the Heart -Walking the Lightened Path in a Challenging World! |
All evidence points to humanity evolving towards a fuller alive expression of spiritual values. Gandhi pointed the way to achieve this evolutionary transformation: "Be the change you want to see", he stated. The changes we make within ourselves impacts the world!
This class begins Thursday October 4th from 7 pm to 8:30 pm with Sharon Shores, RScP, as facilitator, and continues every Thursday through December 6th , except Thanksgiving.
During this 9-week course we will be looking at our values, how they support our beliefs, and how to use those values and beliefs to guide our spiritual growth and transformation.

Meet the Chamber at St. George Musical Theatre! Meet inside the historic Social Hall for lunch and a special performance by Belle from this season’s “Beauty and the Beast” that starts November 29 and runs through December 15. Take a backstage tour and see all the glitz and glamour of what goes in to making a quality performance at St. George Musical Theater. With over 22,000 attendees a year, special Chamber member sponsorship pricing will be available. The 2018-2019 season continues with “The King and I”, “Charley’s Aunt” and “The Pajama Game.”
St. George Musical Theater is southern Utah's oldest and most successful community theater originating from the passion and commitment of Don and Dawna Kenworthy who back in the early 1990s produced quality entertainment in whatever venue they could find.
That passion and commitment to excellence manifests itself in every production as SGMT now finds itself under new leadership and showcases seven high quality productions in-the-round per year in the intimate setting of the Historic Opera House with the extraordinary support of the City of St. George. Providing stellar entertainment for nearly 20,000 patrons a year. SGMT continues its aim to provide exceptional theater at an exceptional value.

Christmas will never be quite the same after you’ve experienced a FAIRY TALE CHRISTMAS, the hit musical by M. Scott McLean and Michael McLean based on their award-winning book. A huge success at Tuacahn last year, this holiday musical sees Christmas through the eyes of a group of Fairy Tale Villains who decide to kidnap Santa in hopes of changing the endings of the Fairy Tales and erasing all the happily-ever-afters. Back by popular demand, don't miss this holiday tradition that's brought to you from the same team that created The Forgotten Carols! |
