Welcoming The World: Ironman Preview Luncheon

The IRONMAN World Championship is the most iconic endurance event in the world. For 44 years, the race has been held in Hawaii, but on May 7, 2022, for the first time ever, the prestigious event will be held here, in Greater Zion. The event theme stems from Hawaiian roots. It is Kumukahi - a new beginning.

IRONMAN events have generated nearly $120 million in economic impact to our region over the past 10 years. The World Championship will bring another $25 million in just one week. Leaders are saying this may be the biggest event to happen in the state since the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Join us as for an engaging presentation to learn what it all means to you and your business. Get the latest updates, insights and business tips for how to join in the opportunities and be part of the success.

This event celebrates the conquering human spirit. It honors the characteristics of determination and resilience that are so prevalent in our heritage. As a key stakeholder in the county, the role you play will be critical.

Prepare yourself – your heart, your friends, and your community - for a display of human performance, and a showcase of our community that can only be measured in geologic scale.

Director of the Greater Zion Convention & Tourism Office Kevin Lewis will present, along with IRONMAN World Championship officials.
