To mark the opening of Fire Station 10, the St. George Fire Department will host a ribbon cutting and open house Oct. 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at its location on 3270 E. Flowers Way. Everyone is invited to the open house to celebrate this new, state-of-the-art facility.
Station 10 is a significant addition to the city’s emergency response services, with the nearly 13,000 square-foot facility playing a crucial role in the overall emergency response network of St. George. It is equipped with a spacious main building, complemented by a 60-foot auxiliary training tower.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. Following the brief ceremony, a traditional engine “push-in” will take place. Hot dogs and other refreshments will be served while supplies last.
