PY26 FY27 CDBG Regular Funding
The City of St. George uses its annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) federal allocation to
fund projects and activities undertaken by city departments and community-based non-profit agencies
specifically to address the housing and community development needs of low- and moderate-income persons.
CDBG funding may be used for a variety of activities to meet HUD statutory goals including but not limited to:
• Fair housing counseling;
• Services for senior citizens;
• Down payment assistance;
• Employment services;
• Services for homeless persons;
• Infrastructure improvements;
• Neighborhood facilities;
• Handicapped accessibility improvements
All potential applicants are required to attend the CDBG Funding Application Workshop.
The public at large is invited to attend to share community needs and ideas for how this funding may be applied
as part of the PY26/FY27 Annual Action Plan.
